$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install cryptsetup 

cryptsetup is installed in your system.

Make ensure the cryptsetup package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cryptsetup *

You will get with cryptsetup package name, version, architecture and description in a table

cryptsetup package basic information:
